2017年9月7日，中國太平投資控股有限公司(以下簡稱“太平投資”)、美國加州大學舊金山分校醫學中心(以下簡稱“UCSF Health”)、以及美國彼愛醫療集團(以下簡稱“彼愛醫療”)三方在北京就國際醫療機構合作運營、國際醫院科室共建、醫務人員教學培訓、高凈值客戶海外就醫保障等方面的合作進行深入交流。

On September 7, 2017, Taiping Investment Holdings Company Ltd., the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Health, and Pier 88 Health, Inc. met in Beijing to discuss potential collaborations to develop centers of excellence, train medical staff and professionals, provide high-quality care for overseas patients, and develop other aspects of in-depth partnerships.

太平投資認為，保險與醫療具有天然的互動關系，與國際優質醫療機構合作，能夠有效促進保險與醫療協同發展。

Taiping Investment Holdings Company believes that insurance and medicine are interconnected, and that international medical institutions can effectively work together to foster the growth of insurance and healthcare in conjunction with one another.

UCSF Health表示，非常愿意與太平投資及彼愛醫療合作，共同推動全球醫療健康產業的發展，造福人類健康事業。

UCSF Health expressed its willingness to potentially collaborate with Taiping Investment Holdings Company and Pier 88 Health to jointly advance healthcare worldwide for the benefit of patient health and well-being.

彼愛醫療認為，三方的合作對于促進中美醫療交流合作，加速中國醫療系統和醫護人才與國際接軌具有積極作用。

Pier 88 Health believes that the collaboration between these three institutions will promote Sino-US medical exchanges and cooperation, accelerate developments for the Chinese medical system and its healthcare professionals, and improve international healthcare standards.

交流互動后，三方簽署了戰略合作協議，將在輔助生殖、骨科、腫瘤等專科醫院或綜合醫院的運營管理，高凈值人員海外體檢就醫，醫學大數據科學研究，臨床醫生、護士業務培訓，中美醫學學術交流等領域務實合作。

During the signing ceremony, all three parties signed a Letter of Intent outlining collaborations to assist with advisory services in the areas of reproductive health, orthopedics, cancer, and other specialties; international destination programs for patients needing complex care; medical research; professional training and education support for physicians and nurses; and academic medical exchanges between China and the US.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Song Wu, President of Taiping Investment Holdings Company; Mr. Gan Wang, Vice President of Taiping Investment Holdings Company; Mr. Harold Lilly, Executive Director of UCSF Health, Ms. Nida Shekhani, Director of International Services of UCSF Health; and Ms. Min Luo, Chief Executive Officer of Pier 88 Health.
